Why? 3 main reasons:
1) United have dropped points in the Title Race. They drew 0-0 to Blackburn this afternoon. This means that Arsenal could go above United if they win their game in hand (against Spurs). I believe the title is now Chelski’s to lose – which looks very likely, considering they’ve got to play Liverpool and Spurs.
2) Spurs have lost – always a great reason to celebrate. The already-relegated Portsmouth beat Spurs 2-0 in the FA Cup Semi Final at Wembley. Up yours Scum fans.
3) And probably the most important. The Spurs/Portsmouth game went into Extra Time, meaning that their first team has played 120 minutes of football. They will only get 2 full days of recovery time, compared to the full week that the depleted Arsenal team will have. Stamina will surely play a part at the North London derby – and you can expect Arsenal to have the upper hand in that one.
Arsenal fans, we have got a big game on Wednesday evening – a must win for us. If you are lucky enough to have a ticket, make sure you sing your heart out at the Lane. Wherever you are watching, make sure your voice is heard. Come on Arsenal!
[Edit: Thanks to RoyVasey for pointing me to the fact that because Wilson Palacios got his 10th yellow card of the season, he will miss the games against Arsenal and Chelsea - definitely another reason to be happy!]

You missed out Palacios getting booked for the penalty, which not only ko’d all remaining hope of a comeback, but more importantly equates to an immediate 2 game suspension. Starting on Wednesday against us!

He didnt get a redcard, did he?did that take his tally to 10?or yellow cards accumulated in epl and fa cups translate into a 2game ban?

muahahaha… palacios.. sucks!!!
Anyway, i believe for chelsea to lose the title, they need to drop 4 points in their last 4 matches.
Even if they lose just one match, they will still win us on goal difference.
I am hoping that pool can beat chelsea and spurs to draw with them, then they will lose 5 pts. I am hoping for this, other wise 2 draws for chelsea would be good enough for us.
The title charge is going down to the wire. We need to win against spurs. IF we lose to spurs, our title challenge is effectively over.

And the song at the end of the game ‘harry harry whats the score?’was absolutelx fantastic.those attending the game at whl, dont u 4get to remind them of the painful defeat at the hands of relegated pompey,u should have seen ugly harry at the end.man u will finish 3rd.hope wilshere does us a favour on tue by drawing with chelsea or much worser, jack scoring the winner in the last minute.liverpool should beat chelsea and tottenscum should draw with them after leading 3nil at halftime.pathetic.

Don’t xpect anything from L’pool. They’re crap, and no match for chelsea…
& With an injury-hit squad It’s gonna be really difficult for us to make a perfect finish….
we still have to play spurs + I seriously doubt we can beat man city _who look in unstoppable form & who beat us twice this season!!
So please try to be more realistic when you post nxt time

Martin.. Get behind the team,
Being realisitic is kinda the same as being negative at this end of the season. This post points out the possibilities ahead and I for one believe if we can win all our games were in with a shout!
Spurs, City??? Whoever was left in the run in… Who cares! The boys can do it and I will be cheering as loud as I can!
I’m optimistic and it’s not a blind opttimism it’s realistic optimism
